These flexible drag chain cables can be used on CNC machine tools, servo encoders, manipulators and similar equipment
Construction:
- 4 cores × 16AWG (1.5mm²)
Conductor: finely stranded oxygen-free copper, to VDE 0295 Class 6 (tinned copper on request)
Insulation: polyvinyl chloride
Shield: tinned copper braid, coverage 85% minimum
Outer sheath: PVC
Colour: black or other colours (optional)
Outer diameter: 9.6mm
Features: water resistant, oil resistant, cold resistant, UV resistant, abrasion resistant, flame retardant.
Drag chain cables suit dry or damp indoor installation, without forced stress relief or forced continuous reciprocating movement, and industrial use in continuously flexing environments such as woodworking machinery, machine tool equipment, logistics conveyor systems and cranes, with good resistance to electromagnetic interference. The cable is highly flexible, with a bending life of more than 3 million cycles.
