A coaxial cable is a transmission line used to carry high-frequency electrical signals with low loss. Compared with other types of radio-frequency transmission line, one advantage of the coaxial construction is that, in an ideal coaxial cable, the electromagnetic field of the transmitted signal exists only in the space between the inner and outer conductors. This allows coaxial cable to be installed next to metal objects such as cable trays without the power losses found in other types of transmission line. Coaxial cable also protects the signal from external electromagnetic interference.

The cable is suitable for underwater radio-frequency transmission. If additional components are required, contact us and we will provide a design to your requirements.
