Product introduction

We supply highly watertight, torque-balanced multi-core hybrid cables for vessels, offshore oil platforms and deep-sea resource exploration, including underwater vehicles that carry both data and power, whether in fixed systems or mobile systems, i.e. when the vehicle is towed through the water over the seabed.

Waterproof cable is a watertight, abrasion-resistant cable for a range of outdoor environments. It is used for power supply between outdoor and indoor installations, and between underwater and onshore installations.

The cable is made from high-grade materials and designed for use in extreme weather conditions. In undisturbed installations its expected service life is long. If the cable has to be replaced, this is usually due to physical damage rather than wear.

The outer jacket is made of highly abrasion-resistant PU (polyurethane) and encloses the individual conductor insulations. This construction makes the cable very robust and protects the copper from abrasion.
