Product introduction

This specialised underwater cable is designed for demanding subsea applications that need reliable power, data transmission and inherent buoyancy. Its robust construction ensures stable performance in challenging aquatic environments.

Key features:

Buoyancy: a distinctive dual-layer polyurethane (PUR) jacket, made up of a foamed PUR layer and a solid PUR layer, provides significant positive buoyancy. This design helps the cable float or hold a specific depth in the water, reducing deployment weight and stress.

Robust construction and high tensile strength: the dual-sheath design increases durability and provides a tensile strength of 300kg, so the cable withstands pulling forces during installation and operation.

Material properties: polyurethane (PUR) provides excellent abrasion resistance, good resistance to oil and grease, hydrolysis resistance and good flexibility even at low temperatures. This ensures long-term reliability and protection in harsh underwater conditions.

Integrated conductors: the cable combines power and data transmission in one component:

4 x 18 AWG: robust power conductors.

1 x UTP 4x2 x 24 AWG: four pairs (8 wires) of unshielded twisted pair (UTP) data cable for high-speed data communication.
