PDK81301-2*1.0+2*2*0.2
Watertight hybrid cable with two 1.0mm² XLPE power cores and two 0.2mm² PE signal pairs, 9.1mm PUR jacket, 10MPa water pressure rating.
Product introduction
This is a hybrid power and signal watertight (submersible) cable designed for underwater systems that need medium power transfer plus several independent signal circuits, such as subsea cameras, sonar heads, underwater sensors and small ROV control umbilicals. Two 1.0mm² power cores and two twisted-pair signal cores (2×2×0.2mm²) are integrated in one compact jacket. The cable deliberately uses two insulation materials (XLPE for the power cores, PE for the signal cores) to optimise the electrical performance of each function while maintaining full watertight integrity.

The PUR (polyurethane) jacket gives excellent abrasion resistance, low-temperature flexibility and long-term resistance to seawater, oil and marine organisms. Combined with fully water-blocked core components, the jacket ensures zero leakage under continuous high hydrostatic pressure (down to 1000m depth) without relying on tensile design.
This deliberate material split lets the power cores carry higher current safely without overheating, while the signal cores keep clean, low-loss transmission even with power conductors nearby.
Well suited to:
Subsea cameras and LED lighting systems (power + video control signal)
Sonar transducers and acoustic positioning beacons (low-noise signal + power)
Underwater sensors that need separate power and analogue output (pressure, temperature, turbidity, conductivity)
Small ROVs and AUVs where weight and diameter are critical
Scientific marine instruments and data loggers
Any subsea device that needs two independent power conductors and two twisted signal pairs, with insulation optimised per function and no mechanical tension requirement
The cable combines the strengths of two insulation systems: XLPE for robust, heat-resistant power transfer and PE for low-loss, high-integrity signal transmission, all inside one watertight PUR jacket. It suits marine engineering, subsea instrumentation, underwater surveillance and oceanographic research.
